Bradley

Though at one time believed to be a strangely evolved form of Sasquatch inhabiting the Northeastern United States, science has since shown that Brad is, in fact, almost 95% human. The last 5% is still classified by government scientists. Alternately, there may have been an arithmetic error, but in either case, bureaucracy is to blame. New reconnaissance states that he is, in fact, merely a college student learning the ways of graphic design. The report also mentions that he is fond of illustration and space-themed art works. The reasons for this are unknown, but there are two schools of thought on the matter: either he is some sort of extraterrestrial silicon-based lifeform, or he just thinks that sort of thing is neato. Regardless, experts assume he will continue to both create extraterrestrial ideals and general illustrations, unless the mothership returns. And it could anyday now. Mark your calendars.

Brittany

Swimmer, writer, artist, musician…many words wrapped up in one description that only touches the tip of what is me. Being the youngest of four it’s hard to do something that no one else has already done. Well, I seem to find it my goal in life to do just that. One niche I have found is travel. I have travelled all over the USA and have even managed to spend six months in Germany! My wanderlust started when I was young. After growing up in lovely Knoxville, Tennessee, I decided it was time for a change of scenery. Therefore, when it came time for college, I attended Rochester Institute of Technology for Computer Science. Now a graduate, I find I cannot staunch my creative flow and continue to explore new things because this creative mind never sleeps! One of those things keeping my mind up at night is my current dream to leave behind my Software Engineering profession and try my hand as a high school math teacher. Enjoy a trip into my adventures.

Christina

I am a 20 something nanny who still goes to school and has a passion for seeing the world. I have a bunch of interests, although, it probably wouldn’t be all that interesting to list them all. So here’s a few: cooking, art, music, writing, reading, and trying and experiencing new things. I have one vice: sweets or junk food (especially chocolate). Three important things to know about me are I am a vegetarian for environmental and ethical reasons, environmentally conscious, and a 100% supporter of the libertarian party.

Crazy Andy

I write mostly fiction, occassional poety, almost no nonfiction. I am most likely not sane.

Emily

I’ve pretty much immersed myself in writing and literature as much as possible since the days of preschool when I learned to read and write. I’ve been known to read while walking down the street and to become so involved in what I’m reading that I miss out on important events happening around me, like car accidents and breakfast. I’m not promising to be good at what I do, but I hope that I can touch people and make a difference with what I have to say. I write poetry in an effort to make readers look at something from a different angle, as well as to create something beautiful. I write stories to entertain and I write essays because I have something to say and I get a certain kind of high off of making people listen. I hope that someday what I write can mean as much to others as it does to me.

Kristin

Part music teacher, part business woman, Kristin has no clear cut career. When not at work, Kristin is often thinking about work, or jotting down things to do at work in her pastel colored, checkered notebook. If all notions of work are gone from Kristin’s brain, she can be found dancing, cooking gluten free foods, disguising herself as a Chinese boy, drinking large amount of coffee/tea, writing poetry, taking photographs with her Nikon L2 (while pretending it is a Nikon SLR), writing down friends’ funny comments word for word, and organizing anything and everything.

Jeff

After winning an auspicious moo-ing contest as a child, the odd-looking being known as “Jeff” decided to move on to bigger and better things. One of these happened to be working on Abquencity. By day, Jeff can be found roaming a cubicle farm and writing computer code for food. However, as the sun sets, he turns into a slightly more absurd creature that enjoys the English language and its power to create laughter, tears, and connections.
